Getting new gears, need help.

wow really? 3.55s? I thought they were 3.31s but thats with the autos. So about 2500 rpms doing 70 won't really bother me much, and 3.73s would really be a waste. Thanks for all the help guys =)

I was looking at getting a new gear for my 06. I've been doing some research and I'm still debating between the 3.73s and 4.10s but thats not the issue. I'm ordering it off of AmericanMuscle and wondering which kit, if any, i should buy. The bearing or installation kit? I'm having it installed at a shop.
I have a manual and switched out the 3.55's for 4.10's two years ago.

Here is a gear chat that may help. I have a Vortech and have no problems.

I have 4.10's and love em, driving an auto. If you have an auto and you run custom tune, you need to make sure the tuner rewrites it because the shift points will need to be adjusted. I've never used Bama but I'm too satisfied with Brenspeed to change out.

I have an auto with 410's and i think its a great gear to have. Not just for the fun factor. I recently drove from indianapolis to atlanta and there are some goo sized mountains u go up and down. My car never once down shifted or lost any speed going up. Plus going down ur not pressing on the brake pedal as much. plus when ur are on a on ramp and u need to get going U can. I was getting 23 mpg also when i made the trip to atlanta

I have had 4.10's in my car for about 8 months and the whole RPM/Gas thing is garbage. If you are N/A it's 4.10's or bust IMO. I'm having my 3.55's put back in because I'm having a supercharger installed and I want the taller gear to let it work but the 4.10's are the way to go for N/A. Don't let MPG or RPM's scare you, I drove from Pensacola to Cincinnati and got 25 mpg at 2500 rpm.

I'm on my 4th set of gears since I've had the car.
