LMAO at people "missing gears" in an auto. Put it in drive and leave it alone!

I plan on getting a TCI at some point just cause I HATE the the auto shifter.

But it's not a priority because it isn't needed. A tune fixed all my shifting issues.

 

I almost didnt buy my 06 because I hated that plastic POS shifter so much. When I saw the TCI unit I knew I had to have it. I didnt buy it right away but eventually got a great deal on a used one. Its a simple install and a great upgrade but not a performance one IMO. I dont row the gears much but still am glad I got it.

 

I think the old stock shifter is less hideous than the TCI.

 

I like the old style. I just wish I could find one. Has anyone seen something like this? I'm only finding the TCI.

 

You like the stocker compared to the TCI? Really? Its plastic, it built shoddy, its the total opposite of precise.

LOL. Thanks 808Muscle. I hate the stock 06 shifter. I'm looking for more of a vintage style ball **** replacement. I don't shift much in my automatic and can't justify the price of the TCI. Thanks.

You are correct there can be no justification other than you want it. Check the classifieds here and at s197forum and you will find a used one. Plenty of guys jumping ship for the new fiveOhs.
