Issues with going into reverse
So last year i had my rear end replaced and about 2 months ago i replaced the clutch/flywheel in my 05 GT. Past week or so ive noticed that sometimes im having difficulties going into reverse. Sometimes it takes 3-4 tries to jam it into reverse, to the point where it almost doest budge. Also sometimes hitting 2nd gear isnt always the easiest. By the way i also have a triax in there.. Any ideas? syncros maybe?

I had a similar issue that got so bad I couldn't get it into gear unless the car was moving or turned off... turned out it was the master and slave cylinder and the throw out bearing shot apart when they opened the transmission... all under warranty for me though..

If you have a two piece unit shifter then check the top bolt.....If you need a slave I have one sitting in my garage...

no centerforce, was replaced with a Spec stage 2.
I did repalce the slave cylinder, but not the master. First gear and all other gears pop in with ease. Just seems to be 2nd and reverse at times.
Loots thanks for the thread, ill check that out
