this is interesting, the 10 kit requires no cutting of any wires whereas the older kits did. the 10 kit also has a intercooler that is 50% larger than the previous years. I'm thinking that the 10 kit probably has lower IAT's thanks to that too. another interesting bit, the 10 kit mounts the intercooler up higher in the car to protect it from road debris. What that means is you can;t see it through the front bumper like you can most intercoolers. Between that fact and the fact that you don't hear the blower until you are at 2800 or so, this is the ultimate sleeper kit. i sucked the doors off a new edge the other day that was cammed and kept revving me. i had him by a couple lengths and at the next light he asked me if it was a new 5.0, when i told him no it was supercharged, he said it is? i couldn't tell. His car sure sounded good though, I wish the 3V motor could sound like the old 2V motors.
ALSO, OT here, but Ford is dropping off a new 5.0 premium with 6speed brembo pack and all the goodies for me to play with tomorrow. i get to use it for a week. I am pumped about that, not sure when it will be here. I will post up some pics and impressions between it and my blown 10 in the ensuing days between driving the shat out of someone elses car. i am really wondering how they stack up.
