This is more of a general tech question and should be put there.

Whatever you do don't lift the rear up by the differential. If you do God will kill a small kitten.

And if God doesn't 157db is going to spear the poor little fellow.

Unless you're lowered you can simply back up to a curb or a drop (like from the driveway to the street) in order to get what little clearance you need to swap axlebacks. Of course, a good set of ramps (like the RhinoRamps that I have) work like a charm.

Same here. Before installing a lowering kit, I changed my muffs several times just by laying on the floor.

Got mine at Pep Boys for around $35 on sale, they have them at Autozone also.
I'm also a pumpkin jacker for the record.
I'm lowered now and have a CDC Classic chin and had to make ramps to drive onto the ramps for the front.

Ghetto ramps: 2 4x6 blocks of wood, drive up on them and you're plenty high, especially with stock height.
Back partway out of the garage if you have one, and you'll probably have enough room.

No need to jack the car up for most people.

Jack it up using a block of wood under the pumpkin...
