How much HP/Torque do our stock clutch's handle?
Im at about 320RWHP and 305 torque.
Max I am going to go is about 360-370 RWHP.
Not sure how much torque would go with that.
(contemplating FRRP intake manifold later possibly 6 mo. or so down the road.)
Would the stock clutch be able to handle this pretty well or will I need a new clutch if I do this?

Brenspeed told me around 400 at the wheels.
I'm not planning on going that high so looks like I'm good.
I don't even know if I will need a new clutch yet.
Car is at the shop. If I do though... I might just stick with the stock because I am reading the aftermarket ones are a bitch and kind of UN street friendly.
Dunno yet though... Dunno what the price would be on a stock one vs. a spec 3 +

very true, and when I tell some members here I get flamed like no tomorrow but I just let them find out for themselves. It only occurs when stepping up to the stage x 's clutches, stay with stock specs if you like the smooth non jarring head jerking actions. The stage clutch's and pp are for track use IMO.

Here is my experience.
361rwhp stock clutch worked well, no slippage.
408rwhp stock clutch started slipping.
The magic number is somewhere in between. I'd stay stock if I were you. BTW a McLeod RST will drive like stock and handle high power.

Last time I dynoed I was at 517/490. I've done a few things since then (10% overdrive and 8 rib) and am going back next week to make sure all is well and maybe turn the timing down to 17 degrees. Breaking in a new 26 spline RST right now. It's a great clutch.
Here's the last dyno with a frpp tb. Top number is with a 3.250 pulley, bottom curve is a 3.375. I'm now running a 10% od and 3.5 top, seeing about 15 lbs at wot.

How do you know if your clutch is slipping? I got on it hard from a red light the other day and I noticed after when shifting there was much more noise in my shifts, especially going from 1st to 2nd. This only lasted the rest of the day when I went out the next day it was gone.
