Default Header install Tuesday

Hey all. So I am setup to get stainless works 1 3/4 inch LTs installed Tuesday and wanted to ask a few last minute questions. First off, I noticed that these headers are suggested for blown engines and not N/A ones like mine. I do have a CAI and tune right now, but other than this and exhaust the car is stock as far as power adders go. Is this too big of a header to put on? Is it going to actually hurt my HP/Torque bands because of the drop in back pressure? I'm thinking about getting a custom tune from Brenspeed or Bama but will this be enough? Looking for a better sound and a bit more high end performance from this install and wanted to see what you guys thought?

Thanks in advance!

I cant answer the size question but as far as sound goes...... Expect it to be a lot louder. Why did you buy that size header?

Not sure what tune you have now, but if its a canned one then one via brenspeed or bama will be better.

I think louder would be nice as long as its not any more raspy. My loudmouths do fine at that already lol. As far as why I bought em goes... $400 for a set of headers that cost more than 8 is too good of a deal to pass up!

Wow, sounds like a great result for LTs only. So you do have the 1 3/4 inch set? What about mid pipe and axle back... Are you factory back there or no? I just hope my guy gets em on there without to much hassle or cutting and grinding lol!

From what I have seen, Loudmouths paired with LT's are going to be extremely loud. Heck, even just an o/r midpipe and Loudmouths are too loud imo. I just sold my Loudmouths for that very reason. To me, a chambered muffler sounds much better with LT's and an o/r X or H. Congrats on the awesome deal!
