Default Vortech/Paxton H.O. trap speed question

With the members with either kit, what's your usual trap speed?

I am getting an interooler and upping the boost to 10psi next season. Unfortunately, I am left with only 90 octane gas up here (420whp limit on that octane).

Wondering what I'll be trapping at? Right now, my highest was 109mph with an average of a humble 103mph (yikes, I know)

Would like to be trapping in the 118-120mph mark.

Any ideas on what I should be trapping at?

I will be running strictly on DRs (finally) next season as well. 17s to be exact.

I have 4.10s as well.

I have an 07 GT Auto with 3.71 gears, vortech v3 standard, full roush body kit, 20' rims, I ran a fastest time of 13.321 at 104 with my stock 17 and nt555rs with the 20"s and nt05r best time was a 13.5 at 101.3 here in las vegas during summer time with da through the roof. I just installed a meth kit and a off road h-pipe so I hope the meth kit really helps with this air temp issue

FI is a double edged sword.. it makes great power but you have to keep things cool or it WILL bite you in the *** lulz

And yes, it makes me want to swallow a bottle of Xanax when trapping 101 when I should be trapping 110 on a good day! fvck!

lol

Don't have a vortech (Saleen SC), but at 438rwhp I was trapping 115-117 running high 11's, at 487rwhp I now trap 122-123 in the low 11.7's if that helps (should be 11.5's or better but driver needs a mod). I run 17" DR's on either M&H or MT ET street with 4.10's.

At 10psi you should be WAY over 420rwhp, I make about 10.5psi on a cold day. I run 91octane unless at the track I will buy 10gals of 104octane race gas. But the 487rwhp was made on 91octane. The thing with the vortech that may hurt you at the track is the bottom end torque. My buddy made 519rwhp with his vortech but only like 430rwtq, I killed him out of the hole everytime, and he could never run me down.
