Unhappy CEL Troubles!!! Help Plz!!!

First for some background. My car has a cold air intake, diablo 93 tune, and full exhaust. Here a couple months ago, Me and a buddy installed BBK longtube headers on my car. The month after car ran fine and all I got was the usual O2 sensor slow response cel. Here a couple weeks ago I got a P2197, which is a passenger O2 sensor stuck lean.I also had a small lag in low rpms in 3rd/4th gear. So the first thing I did was clean my MAF,CAI, and replaced my Fuel filter. I still had the code and the lag. So I went to O'reillys and bought a O2 sensor. Well not knowing at the time I replaced the driver side O2. When I realized my uh-oh I went and bought another one and replaced the pasenger side. Thats when I got a P2195 and P2197 and P1000. Which is stuck lean on both O2 sensors. The trouble is that im not actually lean. All I smell is raw fuel in the exhaust. I talked to a local mustang guru. He said to check my exhaust for leaks and to re-load my tune. So I did both I reflashed my programmer, and sealed my collectors/flanges with copper gasket maker. All day yesterday my car felt good, no lag, good idle, smooth running. Well today I went to leave college and I noticed it acting up. When I went to go over a speed bump and nothing, all it did was spit, spudder, and not go no matter how much gas I gave it. After I backed off the gas and waited a second it went. I then instantly pulled out my tuner to check my codes, well I now have a rough idle, a P2197, and a P2198, which is a driver side stuck rich code. So now I need help. Any suggestions at all? Im so frustrated with this car. Thanks for all the help in advance!

I gonna be honest I didn't bother reading past the 3rd line in your thread but by then I should've read " installed BBK long tubes and had it dyno tuned" but I didn't so if you did not tune for the headers there is your problem. If you did but was further down in the War & Peace post sorry. LOL

Well thanks for the honesty! I'm getting a custom tune next week when the cmdps go on. Will that fix this mess?

Are you just running a canned tune? You weren't specific in that department. If you do not have a custom tune for the mods you did, then yes, that is part of your problem.

Yes it will. The CMCV deletes require a tune and so do long tubes. Dude to the fact long tubes move the location of the O2's the tune must compensate for different signal strength and the operating temps are going to be reached at different times due to location change.

What o2 sensors did you buy??? Ford OEM replacements seem to be the best choice and most reliable. Other brands typically cause issues. i doubt you bought Ford sensors. Since you put them both in and both are throwing the same code now, there's the proof.

Get ahold of at least one OEM sensor, replace it, and see what happens. The code for that side will likely go away (or clear the codes and that one won't come back).
Good luck.
