2006 GT 4.6l, 5-sp, Is it normal to hear a ticking noise around the Injectors on the passengers' of side, it is loud when cold and quiets down when warmed up.

The 4.6 pretty much ticks and rattles LOL...perfectly normal...took me awhile to get used to it when I bought my 06 GT new...now with 28k on it it still sounds the same...so i figure if it continues to run well with the tuning and normal mods and as long as nothing falls off or comes through the block..all is well...

Thanks, I'm not use to these new engines, I had a 93 Ranger 2.3 for the last 10 years. I just brought this used 06 GT with 53,000 miles, it has great power, when I first heard it running I didn't notice the ticking, when I went to pick it up I ask a few more questions about SCT Tunes and that was when I notice it. The seller said it normal for these engines.

Normal. There's even a TSB that discusses it. i believe the TSB helps determine how excessive it is.
