Default catch can question

I have a UPR catch can for my 06 Mustang GT that I am about to install. I can not install it in the recommended location because I have a shaker hood. I believe I can mount it towards the front of the car between the driver side headlight and the CAI Filter. My questions are:
1. Does the length of the hoses from the catch can to the engine matter?
2. Does the mounting height of the catch can matter?
3. Dose it matter how many bends and curves there are in the hoses?
4. Can the hoses come up from beneath the catch can to the fittings?

Thanks for your help.

1. No. They can be as long as you need to fit the catch can where you want it.
2. No. I'd just be sure you mount it in a location where it will be easy to access it when it comes time to empty it.
3. No, as long as there are no kinks.
4. Yes, again, as long as it doesn't cause any kinks.
