I'd go Hot Rods.
Both perform VERY similar. Almost identical.
But the Hot Rods actually sound a little better. I had them on mine and a buddy had the Brenspeeds. We both agreed mine sounded better.
Besides.. you can still keep the Hot Rods even if you go F.I.
You just wont get as much out of them as you would if you went with the Brenspeed F.I. cams. And remember you would have to get their blower cams to make a difference between the Hot Rods or Brenspeeds. And you wont be getting their blower cams unless you are putting on a blower at the same time.
Don't get me wrong... the Brenspeed cams are AWESOME.
And it could have been my buds tune. I think his idle was set a tad higher than mine so that could have affected his lope sound. VERY POSSIBLE.
I've seen videos where the Hot Rods and Brenspeed ones sound the same.
You can't go wrong with either.
The upside to the Brenspeed ones is also free tune adjustments.
Brenspeed is awesome. Must admit. Then again so is American Muscle when it comes to tunes lol.

I got the Brenspeed NA DR cams for my ProCharger setup.
Runs like a champ. Definitely has lopey sound. No loss of low end.
Were I to do it again, however, I think I would have gone with something with a bit more of an extreme lope. Maybe Thumpers.
I was just expecting more...
