CAI + Tune is a must have...i had been putting it off for a while, getting a new axle back, and some appearance mods, and i finally pulled the trigger and bought the JLT CAI and tuner combo from AmericanMuscle...it gets delivered today, and i have to wait to install it because i need to clear out the tank with regular gas and make sure it's 93 Octane (as i will be running the 93 race tune)

if you have an auto, it will surely wake that baby up...and after you could swap out your gears...there's tons of things you can do, but CAI and a great tune (AM or Brenspeed) is a must have

good luck

yep CAI+Tune is a definite 1st unless you are going to go F/I. I had a JLT CAI with Bama tunes and loved it. Plus if you eventually get gears, you will need the tuner anyway...

Or if you get tires with a (significantly) different OD than the OE tires...

Unless you find one of those killer deals may as well pony up the extra 500-700 and get a TVS. CAI/Tune is best 1st mod if not going FI.

Those damned kits are expensive but well worth the money.. I didn't know why the hell a "cold air intake/tuner kit" costs $650 until I installed it.. wow! Kept me happy for 2 1/2 years until I got the Vortech

work on the rear suspension to put that new CAI/Tune power to the ground along with a good (MGW, Pro 5.0, Steeda, ect.) short throw shifter.

FI=Forced induction, such as supercharger or turbo

TVS is Eatons newest blower stand for Twin Vortices Series. The 2.3L is used on the Edlebrock supercharger kits as well as the Roush R2300 kits, and Magnuson(?) is coming out with kit using the 1.9L TVS.
