Default What to do first?

Just purchased an 06 gt vert. The car is all stock with minor appearance mods.

I'd like to ask the group's wisdom on the first few projects I should take on. I am conflicted on appearance mods or mechanical mods. I have a small list including
1- cold air intake
2- larger rims, staggered and low profile tires
3- light bar
4- new hood with scoop

Now that I am looking at the list, they are mostly appearance mods.

Can you advise on some other mechanical mods to inrease HP.

Same here. Best bang for the buck is a CAI and a GOOD custom tune. Welcome aboard and hope you are enjoying your new ride!

Hands down CAI and tune combo, it just changes the dynamics of the car.

is it a manual? It was odd, but I definitely noticed a 'hang' in between shifts waiting for the engine to catch up before a performance tune. I don't know if it's something Ford programmed in stock to make a manual ride 'smoother'.

If you did ANY research on this and other Mustang forums you wouldn't even have to ask; CAI & custom tune combo. Then you'd know that a stand-alone CAI is worthless on these engines.

Yeah, a CAI & tune will definitley bring some wood...

...And be careful with low profile tires. Even the stock tires sport a short sidewall. Going with lower profile will negatively impact handling and ride quality if you have a sensitive butt.
