Hey do you guys no what business in southern Illinois can tune mustangs?

You're actually not that far from Brenspeed but unless you need every ounce of power, their custom tunes can be shipped to you and they kick azz. No sense going to some ma & pa shop that THINK they know S197's when you have the best not too far in Indiana. They'll also install SC's and dyno them.

IMO i'd make the drive...like Nuke said it's better then going to someone who "thinks" they know our cars...would you take your car to a ma & pa dealer or shop to have a supercharger installed, or would you go to a facility that knows your car inside and out, with a dyno???...just my $.02

Ok if I do end up going, what kind of tune do I need. I have no clue im new to this stuff. I want something that will make my car mean as possible I guess you could say

Well I just put a bid in on a 06 automatic gt that is completely stock. I plan on getting slp exhaust and a CAI and tune

You don't need to go to a shop to get a tune. You can buy online from AM/Bama or Brenspeed (and a few other such as Evolution) and they'll send you the CAI & tune combo. You install the CAI and load the tune yourself. So easy a caveman can do it. About 2/3 of the forum are running non-stock tunes and probably 80-90% of those are custom e-mail tunes.

It's all plug-n-play.
