Default headlight CAI conversion? :D

Anyone here with a supercharger ever thought of removing the LF headlight in order to force cold air into the intake?

Doesn't look too hard to remove and put back in 10 minutes or so..

plenty of guys have done this with the foxes except it was the passenger headlight. You get better dense air. it helps a little.

Pretty sure the supercharger creates a ton of heat under the hood..

at least it'll be sucking in COLD air rather than all that hot engine compartment air.

I may try this on the next test and tune night

Why not go all out and get the headlight delete kit from Agent47?

Not my cup of tea, but for all out performance it is pretty cool.

Also wouldn't call it a 10 minute mod. Probably more like 20 since you have to remove the bumper to remove the headlight. I've installed MY08 HID headlights on my 07 and replacing both headlight assemblies took longer than I thought!

I'd rather run a Supershaker to be honest . . .

The stock headlights are poor enough without taking one away .
