Default Help with new Brenspeed tune/JLT Combo

I was just wondering if anyone had some insight as to what might be causing my car to stall out. I just installed the 87 octane tune with the JLT intake on my 07 GT. During the day it started and ran fine, but just this evening when i went to take it for a spin, it did not want to stay running at first. I started it, it idled fine, but after about two minutes, when I tried to leave, it just stalled. Tried starting it again and took a good many cranks for it to fire back up. After letting it sit for about 5 minutes it seemed to run fine. Just curious if this happened to anyone else. The only thing I can think of that changed was the temp. It was about 42 degrees earlier this afternoon and about 30 degrees just now. Any help would be appreciated!

You most definetly need to call Chandler at brenspeed and tell him about your idling issues. I would call and not send an email as this is something your gonna want to get handled.

i already sent an email. I will call tomorrow morning. I was just wondering if maybe the computer needs to re-learn idle or something. Do you think putting 30-50 miles on it and completing a drive cycle would help?

If you don't have enough miles on the new tune, then my gut tells me that the PCM needs some miles to log enough data to even out the idle. It's possible that the tune needs adjustment. Let us know what Brenspeed says.

Stupid, I know, but have you checked for vacuum leaks and made sure that the MAF was properly installed?

I'm with Diabolical! I was doing some work on my car, pulled the intake off for whatever it was I was working on. When I put it all back together, I'd forgotten to hook the MAF back up. It started and idled fine, got about 3 blocks away (easy driving) and it started to sputter and buck. Barely made it through the intersection and to the auto parts store.

It was hard to start up again, and then stalled out. I realized what I'd done, hooked the MAF back up and it ran like a champ.
