Best tire size for 18x9 centerline wheels?
I just ordered some 18x9 centerline hot rod streeters (thanks mayo) for the back, and im going to order 18x8s for the front. It doesnt list a recommended tire size so i was wondering what would be the best size to get? Any ideas on the best tire size for the 18x9s? I care about performance most

No problemo dude, glad you liked them.
Centerline = badass, you are gonna love...pic's are hearby mandated!
If it was me, I would get all four rims in 18x9 slap some 255/45/18's all around and call it a day. Then proceed to get a chair, sit back and enjoy the show...u lucky dog

255/35ZR18 90W
*255/45ZR18 103W
265/35ZR18 93W
265/50ZR18 103W
275/35ZR18 95W
*275/40ZR18 103W
*Indicates Extra Load (XL)
Right from Nitto's website regarding 9" rims. I would suggest the 265/50. Gives you a good sidewall (ride comfort) and a little bit more rubber underneath (10.83" vs . 10.16")

And jcon tighter sidewalls give you better handling right? but too tight is that stretched look which kills it

I have a 295/35 on and when I go sideways it tears up the sidewall (may have to do with wheel width at that point...10")... so I've only done it once. Too much is bad for handling but too little isn't good for launching either. I'm not i n to drag racing so may want to head to the street/strip section for advice.
With my sidewalls, I chirp the wheels and there is no give at all when I launch it, I do leave the line pretty quick considering the boat anchor wheels I have.

On the fronts I would stick with the 255/45/18.
