+1 on the TSB. One of many TSB's for chronic issues due to **** POOR ENGINEERING. If it wasn't a Stang, I'd push it off a cliff.

Honestly the stock ebrake cable is a pos! I replaced it with one from American muscle and haven't had any issues since. It's much easier to apply the ebrake also before it felt very stiff. They cost a little over $100 but for me it was worth it.

Do you think it would be worth it? It's not usually that cold here anymore, but it sits in my driveway 4-5 days a week while I'm in class. I feel like I can leave my brake off and get around it.

I've just not used it the last few days. It's been fine.

So I took my wheels off and gave the calipers a bunch of shots with a mallet, still no good. I did actually see part of the problem though— when the brake handle is put down, a coil expands itself into its normal state and that pushes away some sort of arm that controls the brake tension (all this is almost right behind the rotors). The tension on the drivers side seems to relieve because this coil unwinds which pushes the arm connected to the brake line away, BUT the passengers side does not move at all. I tried to explain it as best as i could lol not sure if i used the right terms though.

I replaced my cables because they seised up. You could pull on the handbrake really hard and it would only move an inch at most. I have an auto so it was rarely used that might have had something to do with it but upon replacing the cables it was very easy to engage.
Honestly if the issue persist I'd just pop the cables of the calipers until it warms up or just replace them altogether.

One of my good friends said try lubricating the cable a little. Any thoughts on that ?

It really depends on if you alread stretched the cable out or not. It's worth a try. I'm guessing water slipped through the seal and is getting frozen in the line.
