Default Engine stumbles occasionally at startup

At startup my engine's idle will be really rough and at a low rpm. It sounds like it's only hitting on 4 cylinders. The car is always cold when it does this weird start. This only happens occasionally like every month at most. After the first startup it's fine for the rest of the day. Just started doing it about November. I'm concerned maybe something needs attention or is going out. Any help is appreciated.

These motors start up in open loop, meaning that they initially run at the WOT air/fuel ratio (very rich) until the O2 sensors heat up. When is the last time you changed the plugs? Front O2's? Fuel filter? Cleaned the throttle body and MAF? These are some of the things that could cause it to act up on you.

I had an issue similar to that. Changed the plugs and made sure properly gapped and cleaned TB. Fixed the issue and ran like a champ!

Have you ever cleaned the throttle body? I'd start there first before anything else. Also try running 1/3 bottle of Seafoam through a vacuum line, 1/3 in you gas and 1/3 in your crank if you want. If not put the other 2/3 treatment into the gas tank. You wouldn't believe how much of a difference this stuff makes!
