Transmission slip...?

That's not good.

Does the engine die? Any lights come on?

I also think it sounds like a transmission slip. Try putting it in fourth or fifth at about 20 mph and flooring it and see if it slips. If not, call American muscle and see what they have to say

Yea I also thought it was slipping but it also does it in neutral, except in neutral it feels like I'm hitting the rev limiter at 4000 rpm I unplugged everything including the battery an let it sit, now it's fine so I'm guessing its the tune but im still going to contact bama. but thanks a lot guys for the help.

Check your connection around your cold air intake (if you have one)

Sounds like what happens when the engine runs too lean.

Ditch the bbk TB, it has plastic gears in it and has been a point if complaint for along time.

Ether get the FFRP or use stock.

Ooh, yeah, could be stripped or a servo that can't open it completely. Butterfly can't open enough. Starves it.

The aftermarket TB has been an issue and they don't provide any power gains on a NA S197 anyway; not saying that it's definitely YOUR issue. But I'd start by replacing it with the stock TB and see what happens. After that, check with BAMA.

There is a different, lower, rev limiter for neutral. So trying to rev it in neutral you probably have hit the neutral rev limiter - not the same as your transmission issue.
