Default Crank no start after tune loaded. PCM not firing cop's any ideas

Hi All,

I was loading tunes all day getting the new engine dialed in and after I loaded one, I am cranking with no spark and dumping fuel. A/F gauge read 9.8 after cranking.

I am guessing I have a problem loading tunes now.

No errors when loading. Doesn't matter which tune. No DTC's

Anyone ever have this problem?

I tried all of my tunes. Even made a new one just to test it out.

You have the license rights to WRITE tunes?

Are you sure you have the correct strategy code?

Yes. I had SCT logon to my laptop to look at the device and look over my tune.

I have seen other posts similar to this and they were wrong strategy, corrupted code, PATS error or bad PCM.

Weird thing is I get no error codes while loading tunes or DTC's.

SCT wiped their hands clean.

Even though this happened right after loading a tune...

I had that problem with a vmp tune, the equizzer value didn't match. I'm pretty sure I had a code for something. Just looked in my email and I was getting Code p2101 and p2107 before I even tried to start the car.

I wish I was getting a code. It would make more sense.

I am going to check the pinouts on the PCM.

I just hope I don't need a new PCM.

The last person with a new motor to have a no start condition turned out to be a bad connection at the crank sensor, but yours was all ready running, so I don't know.

I've changed tunes a lot and that's always in the back of my mind.

What's change is that I am getting fuel signal, not cop signal. Crank sensor would not give fuel or spark.

When I crank.it over I get rpm, maf volts, fuel pressure. But spark sits at 10 degrees, doesn't move.

I checked the pinouts in the pcm and when I ground out the cop pins the all get a signal. So there is power at the pcm.

The pcm is just not firing the cops.

Going to give it 2 or 3 hours today again.

So I removed the MAF, TPS, Actuator, Fuel Injector, Cam, Crank, COP, fuel pressure, etc connectors

I installed the crank and cam sensors.

I checked for spark pulse and I got it. WTF!!!

I checked each COP, have pulse now.

Then I added back in the injectors. Still good. Then the MAF, then the TB. Still have spark pulse.

Car still wont start.

I noticed this crazy noise from the TB. The actuator sounds like a forklift.

No codes.

So now I have spark and fuel and it still won't start.

I noticed the TB blades close when trying to start the car.

I still think I need a PCM, but I got spark back today for whatever reason.

*** Anyone ever notice the TB blades closing to start?

I have kind of had it with the car. 15k spent on a new engine to deal with an electrical or PCM issue.
