Default Window help

Hey Guys
The passenger window on my 08 GT conv.Has gone crazy, when you try to put it in the up position the window goes up to top , then comes down halfway. Any ideas ? It happens with both switches.
Thanks

There's been several post to this I don't remember the exact process as it's a pita.
But first try pressing the down button untill down the. Continue for 3 or so secs the. All the way up and continue holding it for 3 or so and if that don't work you have to reset the memory on your switches which involves the window I'm motion and unplugging the batter to the car at the same time but google 08 mustang gt window switch memory reset and that should help you

NJ, I have the same issue with my 06 vert. If the rear quarter window is up, it works fine, but if those aren't up, I get the same result. Let me know if you find a fix. Thanks

Doesn't anybody read their OM??? Contrary to popular belief, the Owner's Manual will NOT burst into spontaneous combustion when exposed to light...

The window calibration procedure is described in it.

The procedure is on Page 63 in our 2008 "Operator's Manual" ..... and it seems pretty simple.

My passenger side window was doing the bounce back too. I tried re-cal procedure numerous times (yes I read the OM and no flames!) and it didn't fix my problem. So I took the door panel off and adjusted the window - I had to lower it a bit. Now it works fine. It's a bit of a process to figure out how to move the window around - loosen clips at the bottom and move the window down a bit. I could tell my window needed manual adjustment because when it was fully up, it was about 1/4" higher than the rear window. (oh yeah - mine is a Vert so it was easier to tell it wasn't the same height- no bounce back when the top was down and it BB when the top was up).
