Default Windshield washer fluid not coming out

My car sat from November until a week ago. When I first used the wiper fluid it came out slow. After using it more it worked like normal. Now nothing is coming out and the tube looks empty. What are the first things I should do and is the pump for the fluid underneath the plastic covering between the windshield and hood? Thanks

The pump for the fluid is at the bottom of the reservoir tank on the passenger side near the front bumper if I remember right.

Welcome to the Forum! I know I'm glad to see it warm up here in WI and to see more Mustangs hit the road, getting the wiper fluid pump working is still a pretty big deal while the snow is melting.
I couldn't tell from your post if you were looking for the wiper fluid tank ( has a pic of windshield wiper on the cap) or if you need to check the pump itself. You should be able to hear it come on. It's easy with 2 people, one to hit the wiper fluid switch- key must be on(it's easier to hear with the engine not running) the other person should be able to stand by the fluid tank with the hood open, should hear a buzz. If the motor buzzes but no fluid comes out, I'd disconnect the tube at the fluid tank and try again.
This will tell you if the motor is out or the lines are plugged. Good Luck!

Usually, the nozzles will get clogged. Unplug the hose at the back-rear passenger-side of the hood, turn on the spray and see if water comes out the hose. If no water comes out, you have a pump issue; if water comes out, the nozzles in the hood are plugged.

(And check your blinker fluid while you're at it?)

I swear it sounds as if he's low or out of fluid...

It could be a bad wiper switch also. If the pump does not run, verify it is getting power when the switch is engaged. My bet is plugged lines though.

What do you guys do if the nozzles are plugged? Can they be cleared out with a sewing pin or something small?
