Default Electrical issues after replacing alternator cable

New battery and new alternator cable. Now when I connect the battery terminals, the headlights are on and there’s a hum from the front driver side. If I turn the key to try and start, no crank. Also while trying to start the engine, the washer fluid sprays. Trying to troubleshoot where to look first without going through everything. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

Unfortunately it does look like you'll need to go through everything to see where you went wrong.

That was my concern, hoping for an easy fix.

did you reverse your battery cables or get a battery with the posts on the wrong side?
