Default well.....Got an SVO

I decided not to do the 2.3t swap car that i had planned but instead to just buy an 84 svo with 37,900 original miles on it for 3,000$

That is awesome! $3000 for a car with that kind of mileage is a really good deal if you ask me. You are gonna have one quick ride with all of the go-fast goodies you've got there. Any plans for a bigger turbo? With everything else you are doing to increase the airflow theT3 is going to hold you back in the power department.

It looks like you have done plenty of homework on your setup, but have you considered how you are going to tune with the 42lbrs injectors? I don't think the LA3 is going to like them without the J3 or other management system.

All it needs is some paint because the factory paint is fubar and is needed within the next year! I already have a hy35 to go on eventually but i want to get the stinger header so that I don't have to worry about the radical downpipe with a stock location manifold. I actually already have the 42 lbs also but that will go on when i get some extra money to get a custom chip/tune, I am thinking about and will most likely go with megasquirt at about the same time as the holset.

About the same set-up as I'm thinking of doing. I've got a Holset HE-351? (I think that's the numbers) and Stinger header to avoid the downpipe thing. I am going to try not to ugrade the injectors though, I'm thinking that the meth will make up for lack of fuel. Good luck with your project!

that holset uses up feul like crazy, the stock injectors (35 lbs) are good up until about 300 hp. The Holset will push you well past that so you may want to look into new injectors. The meth will help but not fix a lean issue that you will most undoubtedly have.

The HE-351 is essentially the same turbo as the HY-35. The compressor is a little different and there is one other fairly small thing different but they are the basically the same turbo. The HE-351 is a newer version of the HY-35
