Default In the market.

I figure seeing that I am looking at all these damn cars lol I dont want 4 different threads per find so. I am going to compile them all in here.

so far I have found

two probe GTs a 94 and 93 the 94 is 3500 and the 93 is 1500 (guy wont budge)

I have also found some Euro cars.

a VW Jetta 95 for 1200 with 120,000 on everything..Im thinking the 2.0 4 Banger. (Wouldn't be bad if I left it stock) That car also probably has a standard tranny. I heard they are pretty reliable.

Then here in town there is a 99 Nissan Frontier 4X4 V6 Auto Truck ...for an unknown amount of money. (The guy never answers his calls)

a 91 Stang LX (Like mine) auto 4 banger. for around 2000 :P

95 Cavalier Standard with the 2.2L

94 Cav. blown motor..standard with 2.2L

That's pretty much it but I am sure I will find more and add em to my list :P I think I want the Jetta for DD though then I wish I could find a cheap stang to have. but I have to goto College and get my life organized..but in order to do that I have to get a running vehicle :P

Oh and there is that 87 F150 from my girlfriends dad I could have. with a 302 and hurtin tranny.

I would go for the Jetta. I've heard they are reliable and the thing will get really good mpg, and it would most likely be cheaper to insure.
I don't remember what years but you can supercharge some Cavaliers

Im not looking for speed..I am looking for reliablilty :P and some appearance but thats a least priority. Yeah the VWs do get good MPG I have heard...and I havent seen much about their motors being **** or anything. or anything breaking but I am sure it will happen..then maybe I could find a VR6 :P I probably wouldn't mess too much with the motor or anything. probably mostly visual mods :P if it runs I wanna keep it that way haha..the car is 1200 and I got an email from the owner today saying that it has some rust in some spots. Which is okay by me...depending on the colour I would probably paint it :P I asked for 1000

They are rather quick, I don't know about reliably though. My Grandmother(yup) has one and they can get up and go.....but every one I have heard need some fine tuning in the engine because they all knock...even the factory ones do(at least the ones I've heard). It's kinda like a deisel...you know when one is around.
