Alright so im on my normal classified sites..and I see an 86 Ranger for 600.00 Comes with new Brake/fuel lines and clutch...also its the 2.3 5 spd :P {good luck to me} hell I have already started modding it and I dont even have it yet :P

I know this can be done :P but how easily do you think it would be to swap a stang dash (everything) say from an 87 Stang 2.3 to an 89 or so Ranger with the 4 banger. cuz I know it would involve modding and well I got a lot of tools for christmas so why not try em out. . cause like the door panels from a stang dont really flow with the dash in anyway :P so I wouldnt have to worry about it being mismatched. cuz I was going to throw the seats of a stang in the truck to and get rid of the 60.40 bench they got going. and I thought my seats were comfy as hell! so really all I would take outta the stang is the Console area, seats, and all the dash :P (gauges and all)

Hell throw some 5 spoke stang rims on it...paint it black..drop a 2.3t in there..called it the Stranger.... get it? St (stang) and Ranger...well duh...

but really work with me boys :P Im closing in on an 86 right now :P 600 and almost closed the deal :P

Aren't the rangerswider than the mustang? SO trying to put a stang dash in a ranger would not work because you would have to "stretch it".

I've seen a 87-88 TC interior in that year ranger. I think it was mthd (sp?) donar truck that had it done. Or you could go custom and have good gauges

I just need to say you guys are a bunch of smart asses :P and the TC interior is exactly like the normal ranger interior :P I don't like the flat gauge though. looks too old to me :P I was doing some reading last night and the 92 dash swap in these trucks is rather simple..if the guy ever decides to talk to me again I may do that one :P

I am actually looking into custom dashs right now :P

Or, Or take those two oak trees that 92lxsleeper is going to use and start carving[8D]. Then stain it a nice dark color with lighter accents.

hahaha that'd be a trip but the truck got sold today :P to guy in the same place..so I will just have to find another.
