Exclamation Electrical Problem

Hey everybody,
I've been working on the my 88 mustang for a little while and every so often I would go outside to find the battery dead. I have replaced the battery about 4 times. I finally got my mechanic to look at it and he said that the battery is being drained from the electric, he wasn't sure where though because he doesn't specialize in that field. He did check the fuses and said that they were fine.
Does Anyone have an ideas what I can do to fix and find the problem???
Or would I be better off to take it to someone that deals specifically with electric work?
Thanks I appreciate it

I have an 87 2.3 that does the same thing. When you cut off your car and get out, do you hear the fuel pump running sometimes? Mine will run off and on and i'm wondering if that's the problem.
