1989 cables coming from throttlebody
I have a 1989 ford mustang lx with a 2.3l engine and a a4ld transmission. when I was looking at the throttle I saw three cables coming from it. Obviously one goes to the gas pedal, but the one that I saw that threw me for a loop was the cable that went from the throttle to the transmission. Anyone know what that is doing? when you press on the gas pedal it doesn't hit the cable end until you almost have the throttle completely open. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
