Disconnect injectors on 2.3L
New to this forum. I bought a 93 Mustang with the small 4 Cylinder engine in it. Know the history because it was owned by family. Biggest problem is that the car sat for 9 years in a garage without running. Had the car shipped to South Florida from Michigan. and began my quest to get it up and running. I was afraid that the gas was very bad and turned to goo so I dropped the tank. The tank contained 8 gallons that I filtered and put in my F150. To my amazement no goo in the tank and it looked clean. Ordered a new fuel pump and gaskets because I had the tank off. What I wanted to do next was to put new gas in the tank and then disconnect the return gas line and allow the returned gas to go in a container to make sure all is well. In order to flush the gas out of the injector rail and lines I wanted to disconnect the electrical power to the injectors while I turned the engine over. The injectors are very hard to unplug individually because of their location. Is there some way I can disconnect them all at once from a main plug-in??? Am I doing the right thing here or is there an easier way??? Thanks...................

Well, I answered my own question. Since I had the tank off and replaced the fuel pump with a new one I put some clean gas in a bucket, ran a small hose from my gas return line (from the injector rail) and the hooked up the pump to the pressure side of the fuel line (through a new filter) and then put 12 volts to the pump. This ran the gas through the rail system and back to the tank. Easy to do since I had the fuel pump already out of the tank. Now another unrelated iissue.
