Traction control is a system where the vehicle senses wheel spin, and uses the brakes to correct it.
some even pull timing to accomplish this making it no fun if you're trying to race cause it'll bog

ok so on a 97 v6 camaro whats traction control do? my landlord has one, i dont think it has posi either but theres a switch for traction control. its the only car ive drove with it

put the wipp away, its traction control,i know what it does, i want to know how it does it on a 97 camaro, timing or brakes. im only half as dumb as you think i am.

so can anyone in a n/a 2.3 auto even squeal the tires on dry pavement by flooring it? what would a c4 do behind a na 2.3??? i have one sitting in my backyard thats off a 302 i think. would it be better than my current auto for getting power to the wheels??just curious since i can swap a tranny in about 2 hours and i have alota time on my hands

a c4 would be bulletproof behind a 2.3, but you need a belhousing from a pinto which is rare. im not positive, but i dont imagine it's gonna be as easy to spin as the a4ld (aka loses more power)
