Best re-build parts?

Best re-build parts?
What are the best parts to use when re-building an '86 turbocoupe motor?
Pistons, I was thinking Keith Black, or Speed=Pro??
Bearings? Federal Mogul?
I have a Ford engine gasket set so those are taken care of.
What else? I don't have all the money in the world but I want this thing to be bulletproof and last.

2.3 Turbos are bulletproof from the factory. If you want it to last, build it correctly. Check your clearances and build it according to the book. The name brand of parts don't really make that much difference unless your shooting for 500+ hp! Tons of guys have built their motors using this rebuild kit....................

I personally, am using Wiseco pistons..............

Whatever pistons you use, make sure they're forged and not hypereutectic!

RE: Best re-build parts?
nismotunedgtr,
Make sure you add good oil filter protection. Nothing tears up a re-build like "break in" contamination. Take a look at the magnetic filters that Boss Products offers, (see the add on the right or directory at the top of the Forum for a discount).
You can give your Turbo extra protection if you plumb an in-line filter to the oil feed line for the Turbo.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Good luck.

Dont do an in-line filter for the turbo. Any filter that will do anything helpful will restrict pressure. The factory oil feed is from a filtered source as it is.
When you buy pistons, make sure they for turbo applications. Theyll try to sell you a N/A piston.
