Okay so i ordered a MAF adapter with a cone filter for the stang, but now i realize that on my stock airbox i have a (two wire) sensor plugged into it, with a vaccuum tube, when i unplug the sensor my check engine light comes on, and when i unhook the vacuum line, nothing happens but is suckin in air. what should i do here.

a pic would help. I didn't think there was any electrical on the air box itself, just the sensor after the black box.
