Sorry for the double post. But are the side moldings on the 90-93 model mustangs held on with screws or just adhesive? Cause i would love to ditch them all together, for more of a cleaner look.

huh thats a good question, mine is a 87 and i believe it is screws but at the same time it's kinda of inter-grated into the door. i had my passenger door worked on b/c my grandpa accidently hit it and the body work guy was talking about how it causes problems when being worked on. however i'm not sure if this was kept that way through 93.

they are all screws...as far as I know they are on my 91 ..cuz I am missing a piece here and there and there is screw holes..but really if you painted it all one colour there is no cleaner look than new paint...I just dont like when ppl paint their molding a seperate colour than the body (no offence ppl)

Thanx for answering that question. But heres another. Is the side molding sunk into the door? Like it sits in its own little dish in the door? Or does it sit flush on the surface?

The reason i say this is because patching holes is very simple for me. Just a couple of spot welds, some sanding... And its done. But if its sunk into the door that could be a problem.
