umm if his key works, and it cranks over inside the car, how does that mean its the switch in the column, if it was broke it wouldnt crank.

i wish it was something like the fuel pump...but its not im going to try the ignition...if its notthat im just going to sell the car for 500...

what year is it? it could also be the clutch, my turbo coupe does that alot it needs a clutch, but if its dying all the time check the alternator

its an 89...but its an auto so no clutch...

DID THE ALT GET WET OR FULL OF SNOW?...THAT WILL DO IT.... TAKE A HAIR DRIER TO IT TO MAKE SURE IT'S DRY

I would think that if the engine is getting spark at the spark plug then the distributor gear and the TFI module should be ok. I'm thinking there might be something wrong with the MAF. The element in that thing is like a light bulb filament and a good jar like a ditch mighta messed that up.
