Hey all,

Has anyone had any experience with this 114 code? My 93 Stang has been idleing funny as of late. I was assuming the bad idle was related to my IACV (was planning on cleaning that when i do a tune up soon) as well as her needing a tune up anyhow. But after changing my oil today and using my OBD1 scanner for the fun of it, this code popped up.

I know it has something to do with the Air Charge Circuit been out of self test range so, any help would be great.

Ive been searching the forums and no luck thus far.

Thats your air intake temp sensor.

Best bet is to replace it

Yeah, i bought the new IAT from Autozone. So ill install it tomorrow and see how it goes.

I installed the new IAT sensor the other day and it seemed to calm my idle while the engine was cold.

However, after i arrived home from work, i decided to change my PCV valve as i know they can cause some irratic idleing. After changing that, my idle issue was gone and shes idleing perfectly now.

So, if anyone else ever has a wierd idle, id look at the PCV valve first before assuming its the IACV
