Ok i bought a header for my mustang(2.3t) and was wondering which brand or wastegate is best for my application? Motor is an 87 t-coupe with garret t3(dont know what A/R ratios are, but came off 87' 300zx), Home ported head, crane stage 2 roller cam with esslinger followers, .1'' larger ss valves with some deshrouding work done to combustion chambers, head milled slightly, ARP head stud kit, ported intake with port matching, volvo intercooler, and LA3 computer. I think that covers everything about the motor. Any suggestions? Please only those with experience, no hearsay.

Most Garrett T3's come with an external wastegate already attached. The A/R should be stamped on the turbo. Compressor on the cold side and turbine on the hot side.

Sorry, I missed the part about 35-38mm! I'm not sure. I'm just using the stock T3 wastegate on mine.

The bigger the better, but why stick a 300z turbo on? its smaller than the factory T3 and flows less to.

Sick a .63 back on there and you'll be much more happy.

Its the only one i got that is water cooled and the other hybrid had bearing failure due to me overheating the living **** out of the car. This isn't about the turbo though, i need to know what brand is best for the price, but i already bought one so it doesn't matter now anyways.
