no, not really. i didnt think a radiator would be able to move enough air to be able to use as an intercooler

Cool

Babybudistmonk - The Ebay I/C's are OK. Make sure you get one that's a bar and plate design. IMHO, save that money and just mount your TC I/C as a front mount. They're actually pretty good flowing I/C's, if mounted where they'll do some good!

Mustang2.3 - I run a Volvo closed system radiator, SuperCoupe fan and a large Izusu NPR intercooler.

I'm using a stock 2.3 radiator on my 2.3T, I just moved the radiator over about 1" and did a little cutting on the core support to fit 2.5" ID pipping. Works for me

i have the option to get a 60/63 garrett turbo. i already have the 60/48, and the guy who i would buy it from wants $250 for it. Which one would i be happier with? most of my driving is highway, and i like to play around with my car, not a granny driver, but i try not to get too carried away with it. If you guys think the 60/63 would work better for my driving, i would definitely get it! I guess I would like to hear from people who have used both and what they liked and disliked about both turbos.

A 60/48 gives you a little more torque on the low end and a 60/63 puts it up higher in the power band. $250 is a little steep for a 60/63 unless it's completely rebuilt. IMHO, I'd put the money elsewhere and stick with what you have.

Starion stock unit

Only paid $20 for it and it works for me, although I need to make bigger inets on it (2.5" to match my intercooler pipping)
