i replace my worn out outer tie rod ends with a upr bumpsteer kit. problem is now if i go above 50 mph i hear this awful thudding noise, and the car tries to turn itself slightly. could i have set up the kit wrong? or does this sound like the rack is bad? it was fine before, just got a slight (and i mean very slight) pull around 70 on the highway. also, if i turn the wheel back and forth quickly i can hear and feel a pop in the steering, dunno what that is. i know i need an alignment, but i want to make sure everything is fine first. i got it pretty close anyway, thanks for any help

My Mazda has that popping sound also and its a worn out strut mount, failing ball joint and bad tie rod ends.

Take i to the shop and get them to inspect the steering components and your strut mount o make sure its ok
