Im getting my motor ready to go back in tom..and Im gettin ready to prime my engine. Which way does the distributor turn in these motors? I have seen clockwise on google but nothing with solid info. Thanks

 

I think so. You know can use 5/16 socket to drive pump. Make sure to tape the socket to extension. A battery drill does best. Try one way if no pressure reverse drill. I assume you did not go with hi flow/ hi pressure pump. Bad idea. Hard on distributor gear and center of distributor shaft. Maurice
