sorry bud, it is a GT40E upper. it was made from the two designs of the GT40 and cobra. all 3 intakes use the same lower.
it is by no where near the same as an HO intake
ORIGINAL: Grn N Gry 5OH

thats not the GT40 upper and lower.......upper looks like explorer, almost stock manifold on H.0. 5.0's......bottom looks like GT40 though.
my friend has a GT40 intake and looks TOTALLY different than that one.

Are those intakes a direct bolt on or do have to modify anything?

Direct bolt on, but I think you've gotta get different length bolts....we'll find out when I put mine on.

see the hole in the intake in the middle of the ports, thats for teh 95 thru 97 1/4 model motors. the ones that had teh GT40 heads. its for EGR

the 97 1/4 and later models that used the P heads didnt have provisions for EGR. and on those intakes they are open in that area

That is an explorer manifold. The lower manifold is the same as the GT40 and Cobra. The uppers all flow within a few cfm of each other. I have the same manifold I have been trying to sell for $200.
