Nope, just have to remove all the clear coat off. The original paint should be eather wetsanded to get the clear off or sanded down with 400-600 dry sandpaper to properly bond the new paint

)O and beautiful car. Love the fact that you just did something this big when your so young, shows a lot of promise if you are going to keep doing this kinda work
