Default aod from other ford

hey would an aod from a ford country squire station wagon fit into my 91 mustang ? the reason im asking this is because i know someoen that is selling one dirt cheap and its pretty new, so all it would need is a shift kti and tourqe converter.

its a 89 - 90 it has the 5.0 efi in it i belive

dont do it. it has the weaker servo in it. and the tail shaft might be different in length.

yeah it doesnt have the mustang servo so it wont be as good, and dont go to amco or a shop like that to get 1 because they use non mustang servos and used parts.

Throw a shift kit in it and a descent stall and you wont notice the servo trust me.Just make sure you get the TV cable properly adjusted or the tranny will be toast in a few miles.

you will notice the weaker servo with those items installed. my tranny had the C servo and it didnt hold up for more than 1500 miles on a rebuilt tranny. the tranny had 10k on it before i did the mods. now its done thanks to the weak *** servo. if you want you can buy the stronger servo for like 80, shiftkit 110. stall 500, tranny pan 100 and tranny cooler for 50. this way it should be alittle stronger and perform better

the servo is what gives the shifts their firmness
