Ya have a SN95 dude! The stock computers don't like cam changes and can't wrap their programming around it......its time to get a custom chip! There is LOADS of people with that had the same problem as you with the SN-95s as well the stock programing ROBS power at the upper rpm's by automaticly retarding the timing.
what do you recommend?

Where are you located? Usually you can look and ask around about a Dyno shop, costs around 400 + to get a chip and a burn, people have gained up to 30 RWHP getting a dyno tune as well they fix all the idle issues and tune the car to run the proper A/F ratio! Its a awesome idea if you are planning to do further mods with that thing! The chips dont reallt make any differnce between brands its all who is tuning the car.

Im in south west Virginia now, But tomorrow Ill be moving to Orlando, Fl and Ill be living there for around 2 years. Is there a tune shop near there.

Btw, i got the Idle issue resolved for now, I cleaned the MAF and bumped up the Idle to 1000 But It still needs a tune

EDIT: schwindty, How do you like those heads, after I get new fuel lines/regulator/maf/headers thats going to be my next big purchase

Just ask around to different guys with stangs or modded cars when you get there, there will be good shops to get it done at! As for the heads they are awesome deadly quality, cheap, have good hardware installed, no complains what so ever..... Some food for though when buying heads is what cam you are going to be running, AFR's are overpriced and can run only mild lift cams, along with TF, The edelbrocks are good to .570 lift from factory, As for flow numbers they arn't the best but spend the 300 dollars you saved from purchasing the Edels/trickflows and get them ported to what you need to WAY outflow the AFR's.
