Just had an E-cam installed
I just had my new cam installed today and now when I come to a stop the idle drops and rises between 700 and 1000 rpms and sometimes will eventually die, when I first start it up it has no problem Its only after ive been running it for a bit. Is there just a simple adjustment to be made, or is it possibly a problem with a sensor. The check engine light did not come on so I figured maybe its not a sensor.

How much did the install cost you?

The engine seems to be in time, when I give it any gas it runs like a champ, its only at idle that it does this, but ill look into it. But for now is this going to be a huge issue that can potentially hurt my engine, or can I go a couple of weeks?

Eh, it's a vacuum leak. Make sure all your vacuum fittings on your intake are nice and tight, with teflon and what not. In the meantime, turn your idle up a couple hundred RPMS.

Ya have a SN95 dude! The stock computers don't like cam changes and can't wrap their programming around it......its time to get a custom chip! There is LOADS of people with that had the same problem as you with the SN-95s as well the stock programing ROBS power at the upper rpm's by automaticly retarding the timing.
