when ever i drive my car and hit the littlest bump my hatch klanks i bought new rubber bumpers and its still doing it. i know where its hitting and its wearing away the paint and starting to rust how do i stop this before it gets really bad?

 

Were is it hitting?

 

my car is doing the same thing but its because of my system its pretty much distroying it.

 

its hitting at the bend in the hatch i think ill have to look at it tomorrow i dont feel liek going outside in the dark and cold to look at it

 

Replace the weatherstrip, they compress with age. I had a similar problem and that corrected it. 5.0 resto has them..

ok cool yeah 50rest is pricy i get my stuff off of mustangsunlimited and i get it at my front door the day after i order it anyways thanks i kinda figured it was that wasnt sure though
