Default My car wont turn over

I have a 88 gt I bought like 3 weeks ago and it has been pretty much trouble free. My problem now is it wont turn over, it cranks fine but nothing happens, like its not getting any fuel. I am sure its not my fuel pump because I can hear it, its an upgraded one. What could this be? Oh yeah it ran good for the whole day then I shut if off for like 2 minutes jumped back in it and it stall while I was I was just starting to go. Thanks

you need to find out if you are gettin spark, and fuel than move on to the next step.

agreed. check the coil wire, if its giving spark, move onto the spark plug wires, then to the plugs. Also, check the fuel rail pressure to make shure you are getting gas.

good luck

Fuel, Air, Spark are the basics you need to check as already mentioned. Take out a plug and hold it near the block and check for spark as the engine turns over. Have a buddy help you out.

Once you established if you have spark or not, get back with us so when can move on to the next possible solution.

Doubtful. You'll most likely get stranded again. Sounds like a ingnition module problem.
