When I bought my new engine, I got the whole long block from TB to oil pan with a Lunati Cam for $250. If the engine is not modified in any way, and has any mileage on it, it isn't worth squat. Whoever buys it will have to disassemble the entire thing, and send to machine shop. Unless it is a running engine that has been recently freshened up, I see no more than $400 for stock set up. You can buy the whole car running with imperfect body work for $1500. Any thing requiring any kind of work is not worth a lot of money.
