Default newbie with a problems

i got a 89 gt mustang i wanna just totaly drag out. i need some idea's on what i can do. the engine is a stock rebuild and the tranny is auto. so can someone throw me some ideas plz?

Tune up , oil , ignition , remove the air silencer (behind the air box on the inner fender) Gears, Catback exhaust, midpipe (X or H) , then headers, then throttle body, mass sensor, intake manifold, then go from there.

what about the tranny? i was thinking of a pa performance auto tranny but what kinda torque converter
